The Consumer Electronics Show 2025 left us with hundreds of inventions, from the weirdest of technology to the most modern and innovative, and this creation mixes a bit of both.
At first glance it looks like a computer keyboard 'split' in half, which could have benefits in terms of use and comfort, however, it goes much further than that.
The Autokeybo
This invention has been created in order to use a keyboard and mouse in a more practical, convenient and even ergonomic way. The design consists of a base for the forearms, whose front part has the distribution of the keyboard in two pieces, for each hand, however, both parts are retractable.How does it work?
The way to combine the use of keyboard and mouse in one space is that both upper parts of the keyboard retract into a compartment in the base. By doing this, two new devices are revealed, which are a touchpad screen that functions as a mouse, and a complementary numeric keypad version. For these to be revealed, you just have to raise the corresponding hand (with a specific position indicated by the creators) and thanks to a camera with artificial intelligence, the device will automatically detect the action, activating this surprising function. It is with the same movement that you can return to the main functions of the keyboard.Additional features
