The watch that won't tell you the time

Stop constantly looking at your watch, start to feel time.

Why did we choose this?

Watches that won't tell the time is not an entirely new concept. For many years there have existed either as a way of having a funny watch or as an aesthetic accessory, however, the concept of this project is a watch that makes you ‘feel the time'.

This is the concept behind Naerwear's Stund project on Indiegogo, a watch that will notify you of the passing of time, but won't show you the time.

More about this product

How does it work? The Stund, at first glance has a face with only four dots or holes, which light up according to certain minute intervals. And the clock also vibrates at each interval, which can be customised to activate for 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes.

Stund aims to make the wearer more aware of the passage of time without the need to constantly look at their watch (which in the beginning, will be probably inevitable if you use a watch regularly).

Basically you set it to a cycle and the watch will notify you through gentle vibrations that can be easily configured with a primary button (and only button) located on the right side of the watch. In this way you can use each vibration as a reminder, as measure of time to do tasks, to create a specific habit or just enjoy the pass of time without stressing out.

The Stund has a sleek 41mm design and weighs only 50 grams, with genuine leather and vegan leather straps, of which you have a choice of 3 colours; is splashproof, dust protected and has a battery life of over 5 months.

The watch costs starts at €169 (offer price) on their official Indiegogo Campaign, where you can find your favourite.

Naerwear has international shipping and the project itself, which exceeded the funds on indiegogo, is already in production and shipping.
