Kentucky Fried Chicken has launched a new product to add to your Christmas wish list. Combine aromatherapy with a culinary experience and give a special touch to your home.
A few weeks ago, McDonald's Austria announced the launch of its set of candles with scents related to iconic products of the fast food chain. Kentucky Fried Chicken did the same for its part (even a few days before McDonald's).
If you've ever tried KFC Buttery Biscuits or enjoyed KFC Fried Chicken, just by reading this, you'll probably be able to associate the smell in your mind.

Is there an option other than candles?
If candles are not your thing, there is a third and last option, the KFC Bucket Of Chicken Car Freshener, which aims to deliver the unique aroma of fried chicken - just like the KFC Bucket Of Chicken Candle - to your car. Its characteristics, in terms of notes and aromas, are the same as those of the Bucket of Chicken Candle.According to the Homesick website, one of the official distributors of the products, it points out that 'Our candles are cruelty-free, non-toxic and contain no lead, plastics, paraben, phthalates or synthetic dyes and are made with a natural soy wax blend.'
A new level of Marketing
KFC has made a huge leap in recent years in terms of unconventional marketing and advertising strategies. From Funko Pops, small limited edition vinyl figures depicting Colonel Sanders, to Eau D'uardo fragrance, an exclusive limited edition perfume with scents of KFC's original recipe, whose format (product presentation) represents a piece of fried chicken. On Homesick you can find the exclusive sets, however depending on when you enter the site, the product may already be sold out. But don't worry, they may be back in stock soon and you can request to be 'notified' when the products are available again.
Both candle kits can be found for $34.95 each, while the Air Freshener is only $12.
