As its name suggests, it consists of 20 mm capsules in medicine format, the inside of which contains 24-carat gold leaf, and is part of the 'INDULGENCES' collection, created together with Tobias Wong.
The product, designed in 2005 as a concept only, was included a couple of years later in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, along with the aforementioned collection, generating even more popularity among visitors, who could purchase and consume these capsules.
Do they have any function?

For the creation of edible gold, 'gold nuggets' are selected and subjected to high temperatures, then melted and adapted to the shape of ingots; they are then cut with specialized machines into sheets up to 0.015 millimeters thick. Finally, they are usually deposited in 'gold beaters' in order to further reduce their thickness, in some cases down to 0.00015 millimeters.
Do they taste of anything? In order not to harm the consumer's health, harmful components are eliminated during the production process, making it a tasteless food.
