FENDI, the successful Italian brand has been part of huge collaborations with brands such as Versace, Marc Jacobs and even Pokémon, and in 2024 a new collaboration left its followers surprised. Chupa Chups.

Their history

On the other hand, Chupa Chups is a Spanish company founded in 1958 in Asturias, dedicated to the manufacture and sale of candies, such as its characteristic and probably best known product, the lollipop.

FENDI x Chupa Collab

The FENDI x Chupa Chups collaboration consists of a luxurious accessory called the “Lollipop holder necklace”, which is a leather accessory with FENDI's signature Selleria technique (detailed hand-stitching), with an “innovative and amusing design”. At first glance, it may be difficult to decipher its purpose, however it is much simpler than it seems. It's basically a luxury accessory for carrying your lollipops.

The simple 12-centimeter accessory can be hung on your bag or purse, or you can even hang it around your neck. 

This collaboration resulted in a collector's kit whose box includes 5 limited edition Cacao-Vanilla flavored Chupa Chups lollipops, as a symbolic tribute to the 5 Fendi sisters, Paola, Anna, Franca, Carla and Alda, who were part of the company since 1946.

What seemed to be a somewhat “unnecessary” idea, generated great reception on social media, in spaces like instagram, where their followers want to get the accessory with eagerness. 

You can find the collection, in purple, green, blue and light blue for €550,00, and you can buy the Holder Necklace by itself, which can be purchased in gray, beige, red and light blue, for €490,00.
