Masataka Shishido also know as Doooo or mostly know as Mother Factory, is a japanese artist that mixes realism with horror and ‘everyday’ objects. 

Shisido is Japanese DJ, who was attracted to horror movies at an early age, has been part of the Creative Drug Store ensemble and has even released albums of his own music. 

However, today more people know him for his disturbing but captivating artistic pieces, which were presented in a New York exhibition called "Human Flesh Art Exhibition" in 2023, his first outside exbition (from Japan).

His so-called ‘Human Flesh Art’ are hyper-realistic pieces created from silicone that mimic human parts such as mouths, eyes, fingers or ears. Nevertheless, they hide something particular, because some of his works have a certain functionality, since among them you can find purses, phone cases, shot glasses or USB portals. 

 All his works are created by hand and can take between one to three months to make each one of them. 

Despite knowing something of his artistic process, that includes his drawings, to then send the sketches to certain manufacturers that produces the pieces, Shishido details that there are parts of his creation process that are and will remain a secret.
