This innovative brand has the ability to adjust and grow along with children, thanks to a mix of clothing and sustainable technology and above all, a comfortable design for children.
Petit Pli is a British brand created by aeronautical engineer Ryan Yasir in 2017, whose creation consists of clothing that adjusts according to the growth of babies and children. The idea arose after Ryan sent clothes to his nephew, which, by the time he received them, were too small for him.
As a result, he decided to apply his knowledge to create a new category of children's clothing.
How does it work?
Its technology consists of a design based on folds (like origami) that allows the garment to stretch up to seven different sizes, both in length and width. Among its categories you can find:
- TinyHuman [Newborn 0 - 1 year].
- MiniHuman [Toddler 9 months - 4 years]
- LittleHuman [Child 4 - 9 years].
Innovation and sustainability
Each garment is created from recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which, together with the continuous use of the garment, would not only be a step in terms of innovation and technology, but is a contribution to the reduction of textile waste, whose studies show that over 90 million tons of waste are generated each year.
Wearing these garments could reduce your carbon and water footprint and raise awareness.
A break on your wallet
All of your garments also mean something important for parents, saving money. Caring for a baby or child involves different monetary costs. By buying these garments, it would mean a great saving, not having to buy new clothes every few weeks or months, as some babies and children grow very fast.
In addition, Petit Pli promises the durability of its products with high quality materials. In addition, the garments are hydrophobic (ability to repel water), are wind resistant and have reinforced sections such as the knees, in order to preserve their care and durability.
