A simple invention, designed to challenge our reality and perception of it. Discover the True Mirror and a unique design that will allow you to see yourself as never before.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to see your “real” image in the mirror?

Challenging our reality

Whether in the reflection of water, in a window or in a mirror, our brain perceives the image we see of ourselves as “normal”, even though it is a reverse image. Many say that traditional mirrors do not allow us to see ourselves as others see us, which is why True Mirror seeks to challenge this convention and show you the real you.
True Mirror Company was created in 1992 by John Walter. And although he is the founder, his idea is based on a project patented in 1887, but that was kept more as a curiosity than as a product.

But what is True Mirror?

The True Mirror is striking at first glance, since it is designed thanks to two mirrors positioned at an angle of exactly 90 degrees, which allows you to see a reflection that is not inverted (laterally), as is the case with traditional mirrors. One of its key points is the light, since it is reflected first in one of the mirrors, then in the second one, thus reversing the initial inversion of the first mirror.
For example, if you place a sign with a text in front of the mirror, you will be able to read it since the image will not be inverted from left to right - just as a person in front of us would see it.

The real “you"

In addition to being something eye-catching, both its creators and testimonials from some customers, highlight a feeling of “revelation” when using it. Among some of these customers, we can find reviews such as:
I've had it for days and I still get excited every time I see it! It's like having a surprise for the rest of my life!” or , ”I have my True Mirror in a special place, isolated amidst all the clutter of my life. I try, when showing people around, to make sure that each person who visits gets a chance to spend some time alone with it”.
Most of the testimonials have an emotional context, because the True Mirror mechanism would allow us to see ourselves 'as we are' and as others see us.

How to get it?

If you want to purchase one, their official site has several designs and dimensions. Would you like to know how the rest of the world sees you?
